From TFRWiki
Cyrano4747 generally goes by the shortened form "Cyrano" both on IRC and in casual conversation. The double set of "47"s is an obscure reference to a numerological obsession common among students and alumni of the school he went to as an undergraduate. PM him with proof that you go/went to the same place and he'll either shower you with riches or ritualistically sacrifice you to the pagan deities of milsurp.
He's usually refered to as "that guy over there," "the one who won't shut up," or "that huge milsurp faggot."

About
Graduate student at the University of North Carolina who is a proud native of Oregon. He spends most of his time in North Carolina now, although he does go home to Oregon for holidays and the like and keeps a small collection of guns at his parents place ready to go for an afternoon of plinking. His interests, both academically and in guns, tend towards the historical. His firearm collection is composed almost entirely of military surplus guns, although he has recently expanded it to include a single new production (albeit Russian) .22LR rifle and a West German police trade in Sig P6 pistol. If you want to learn about guns he's both patient and insistent upon safety. He's also a cheap date and will generally agree to cover all your various shooting costs for the first day if you buy him some beer afterwards.
He's also semi-knowledgeable about old military guns. Many people know more than he does, especially about specific models, but he's also open to questions and is willing to do a little light research. PM him if you want help on something, especially when it comes to restoring, cleaning, or repairing military surplus guns. And if you're mounting a scope talk to him - one of his personal pet peeves is seeing valuable military rifles ruined through drilling and tapping.
Sightings and Natural Habitat
Usually seen these days buried under a pile of books in North Carolina, Cyrano's natural habitat is the lush forests and snowy peaks of the Pacific Northwest. He can usually be seen in any TFR post with the "milsurp" tag and often hangs out in #TFR, talking to himself about what the best type of stock wax is.
